Image Maps (cont.) UNFORTUNATELY, THERE ARE TWO DISTINCT APPROACHES TO CREATING AN IMAGE MAP. CLIENT-SIDE IMAGE MAPS THE LAYOUT OF THE MAP IS INCLUDED IN THE HTML FILE AND HANDLED BY THE CLIENT.   SERVER-SIDE IMAGE MAPS THE LAYOUT OF THE MAP IS KEPT IN A FILE ON THE SERVER. THE CLIENT JUST SENDS PIXEL COORDINATES TO THE SERVER. WE WILL ONLY COVER THE "CLIENT-SIDE" APPROACH.
