June 28: Workshops and Tutorials

Registration for ICML-2001 is now open!
To register for the conference, please print the registration form, complete
it, and either fax it or mail it to the address on the form before May 31,
2001 (it must ARRIVE by the 31st). The registration form is available in the
following three formats:

do so again. They have been updated.
The conference consists of a day of tutorials and
workshops ,
followed by three days of technical presentations and invited talks (schedule
to be posted soon).
The conference fee includes the tutorials and workshops (no additional fee is
required). But you should register for tutorials and workshops on the
conference form. Note that additional requirements for workshops can be found
on the workshop
homepage .
The conference fee includes many meals. It includes lunch on June 28 (the
date of tutorials and workshops) and ALL meals (breakfast, lunch and
dinner receptions)on the 29th, 30th and 1st (the days of the technical
conference).
Housing for ICML-2001
Accommodations are available both on campus and off campus. For more
information on housing for ICML-2001, please see the accommodations list. It is important to
reserve your housing early! Williamstown is a popular tourist destination,
and hotels fill up very quickly. While we have reserved a large number of
rooms on campus, we cannot accommodate everyone.
Transportation to and from Albany Airport
We will provide shuttle service between Albany International Airport and
Williams College. The fee is $10.00 for a one-way trip. If you are
interested in signing up for the shuttle, please indicate this on the
registration form. You must register for the shuttle if you plan to use it.
It is important that we have this information early so that we can plan the
shuttle service appropriately. The shuttle will be running approximately
hourly from Albany to Williamstown on June 27 from 1:00 PM - 9:00 PM, on June
28 from noon - 9:00 PM. On July 2, the shuttle will run from 7:00 AM to noon.
Please note that the trip between the Albany Airport and Williams College
take about one hour.
You can also rent a car and drive from the airport to Williamstown. Parking
on campus is free, but please indicate whether you will be bringing a car
to campus on the registration form.
Other Events
We have a limited number of tickets for the
Williamstown Theater Festival
on June 28. That evening's performance is the musical "One Mo' Time."
If
you would like to purchase tickets for these event, please do so at the
time that you register.
