Part I: A Miniature Web Site

In addition to a basic knowledge of HTML, publishing information on the web requires familiarity with the software necessary to edit HTML files and make them accessible to the server software that will distribute them to remote sites. In the first portion of this week's lab, we will lead you step-by-step through the construction of a very simple web page. This will provide you with the chance to become familiar with the software we will be using to edit HTML throughout the course.
