Ayesha and I have discovered that thinking mathematically about three is VERY VERY difficult. This is why we suggest to you a common sense approach, using the applet that Tom gave us in class. PICTURE what's happening, how the message travels, over what distance, and all the possible ways it could travel (i.e. are there collisions on its path, are there no colisions, etc.). Then, use the formulas provided to apply all the numbers discovered in question 2. Don't worry about ideal times or real times until you can conceptualize visually what's happened.
