When I try to put the background image on a page it only works the first time I do it. Then after I go back to check it the text is there but
the background does not load. The html for the backgound image is on the page, but no image and it happens every time. What the heck is going on.

I just wanted to add a little to the message to make the problem clear. I am not sure whether to save the images as GIF or JPEG, however it does not seem to matter because neither choice works in giving me a background. I add the tag for the background using the custom page option under create new page in page spinner. When I check the new page it works the first time, but when I leave and come back the image no longer appears on the page preview. I am really frustrated and I have tried everything I know.

Well, I just found out the answer to my problem. When I was saving the new background pages, I was saving them to my lab 6 folder and everything was fine. Then I decided to move these pages from the lab 6 folder to a different folder and for some reason the background will no longer display. I am pretty sure this is the problem thank god b/c I almost threw the computer down the hall. Computers are weird tempermental little guys!!!!
