A student sent me an email note to say "I am planning to work with the on-line course catalogue and I am not clear as to whether the intent is to actually go in and change what the registrar has posted or whether it is to copy the files to our own pages and manipulate them there."
The idea is for you to copy them to your own folder. You should probably first create a sub-folder in your www folder and then put your copies of the documents within this new folder.
There are several easy ways to get copies of the registrars text. If you view a page with a web browser on a Mac, you can select the contents of the page with the mouse, "Copy" the selection, switch to PageSpinner and "Paste" the text into a PageSpinner file. Alternately, you can use the Netscape Navigator "Save" item (in the File menu) to save the contents of a page as text. Then you can open this file with PageSpinner.
Once you have your own copy you should modify it using PageSpinner to include appropriate links.
