Write up a careful solution to Case Study 5.5 on page 283-284. This problem walks you through the construction of the matrix for counter-clockwise rotation by a given angle around a given vector. It will also make you use all of the linear algebra that we have been reviewing. The problem has several parts, so it will take some time. You will need to read the relevant paragraphs from Appendix 2 for parts d & e (see page 823).

Notes:

• In part (e), I believe that the definition of Cross(u) is off by a factor of minus 1: You should negate every entry in the matrix.
• If you are stumped by some of the parts, don't give up! Move on to the next part.
