Overview

GENI is a suite of research infrastructure rapidly taking shape across the United States. GENI provides a virtual laboratory for networking and distributed systems research and education. It is well suited for exploring networks at scale thereby promoting innovations in network science, security, services, and applications.

The Introduction to GENI Workshop is intended to give educators and researchers an in depth overview of the functionality of GENI. Travel grants are available for non-local participants.

The workshop will include an overview of GENI, presentations by faculty who have used GENI in their classes and research, a demonstration of popular GENI tools, as well as tutorials and hands-on exercises.

To participate in the workshop, please register by Oct 17, 2014. Due to space limitations, filling out the application does not guarantee participation -- we will inform the selected individuals by October 20.
