Setting Up For After Spring Break

Here is a short list of items I’d like you to do no later than next Monday. You should be able to complete them all now if you’d like. My hope is that we can all be up and running by next Tuesday when we would have had our first official post-Spring Break lecture. We’ll pick up working on a revised Graph ADT lab then.

  1. Watch my short Welcome Back lecture on the calendar on Monday, April 6 (~15 minutes). You’ll need to log in with your Glow username/password.

  2. Read the Administrativia page, also on the calendar. The remaining items all relate to items discussed in that document.

  3. Set up the Software Everyone Should Install.

  4. Accept my Slack invitation (sent via email) and join the CS 326 Slack Workspace. Send me a message to confirm you’re on. Also tell me your time zone, and how you’re doing?

  5. Set up your Computing Environment.

  6. Verify Your Environment Works.

  7. [Optional] I will be on Zoom from 2:30 - 4:00 this Friday (4/3), next Monday (4/6), and next Tuesday (4/7). Call me there if you’d like to check in about the class, or just say hi!

  8. I will push out a new repository for the Graph ADT lab on Friday – you’ll want to verify that you can access it once you get the notification that it has been created.

  9. Anything I’m forgetting? Let me know!
