Installing BlueJ
- Download the following version of BlueJ, which has ObjectDraw and
a few other items already included.
- BlueJ for OS X
On OS X, if you get an error that the BlueJ application is
corrupted when you launch it for the first time, go into the
System Preferences, select the "Security & Privacy" options, and be sure that
the option "Allow apps downloaded from:" is set to "Anywhere".
- BlueJ
for Windows
BlueJ may report that "No (suitable) Java
JDKs were found" when you first launch it. If it does, click
"OK", then click "Browse..." in the next dialog box. Then select
the following file from inside the BlueJ-3.1.7-pc folder you
installed: bluej-3.1.7-pc\jdk\bin\java.
- Installation hints, troubleshooting, etc. can be found
at the BlueJ site.
